Audrey recently traveled from Neodesha for her senior session with Kristina. I was looking over the images as I was preparing this blog and I couldn't help but notice how colorful her session was. Just look at the green wall above and the blue, orange, and purple outfits below. I love it!
Audrey is a busy girl between cheerleading and sports so I'm glad she was able to make it to Pittsburg for her session. Hope you enjoy them Audrey!

Kristina and Marissa headed to Fort Scott for Lindsey and Trent's wedding. They had a great day for an outdoor ceremony. Then, the whole crew headed back to Pittsburg for the reception. The bride and groom's laid back attitude made for a fun and relaxed wedding which we always appreciate.

Kristina, Jackie and Mike recently went to shoot the Murphy family for Jacob's first birthday. Although the weather was brutally cold that day, the Murphy crew was all smiles...especially little Jacob, he's a natural.
Jacob had a blast jumping in puddles at the session...until he fell in the cold water. But, after a quick change of clothes, he was warm and dry and ready to go again. What a trooper. Enjoy the images!

Well, I kind of dropped the ball on Carrie and Andrew's engagement session getting posted to the blog. I've got a color-coded workflow system on my computer for helping me keep track of what order to post things online, and I marked them posted without ever actually doing it. So what we have here is kind of a guilt-ridden blog post - but at least the pictures are pretty...
We weren't blessed with good weather from the start, but schedules being what they are we decided to give it a go anyway. Things were going wonderfully right up to the end when I got a couple of frantic phone calls from my family letting me know my grandma had fallen and broken her hip and her wrist. That kind of call can throw you off track for a few seconds, but we recovered quickly and ended things with a bang.
I'm pretty disappointed that we aren't able to photograph their wedding as well - we were already double-booked for their date. They're a wonderful couple and I'm sure they've got a life of happiness in front of them. Good luck you guys with all of the wedding planning!

It's not every day I get to photograph a senior that drives their own Jaguar - but I did get the chance during Dane's senior session a few weeks ago. I overheard his parents call this thing a 'project car' but as far as I can see it beats the hell out of any of my vehicles. While he was said to get an unbelievable deal on the car I have to say it's pretty cherry. I didn't see a single blemish on it. I offered to trade him straight up for the Trailblazer that day, but he gracefully declined.
We had a great time working with Dane on his senior sessions. He was extremely laid back and was willing to endure any crazy ideas we threw at him. I hope you guys enjoyed the images - thanks Dane for a great time!

I've got a short list of things I've wanted to photograph for the last couple of years. I've always wanted to get a senior girl with a full ballerina outfit, a senior guy that rides dirt bikes, and a senior that skateboards. Josh helped me scratch one of those off a couple of weeks ago when he showed up with his skateboard. I had a spot all picked out that I'd been saving when the right situation arrived, and luckily everything came together for one of my favorite shots of the year.
Josh went the route a lot of the guys do and opted for a single hour outside for his session. We made the most of it and got a lot of different looks with outfits he had with him. Check out the images below for more of my favorites. Thanks Josh for a great session!

Kathryn has become one of my all-time favorite clients. We've gotten to know her pretty well over the last several months since she was one of our senior models for all of the promotional pieces we made for our scooter giveaway. I was really excited when she decided to have her senior pictures done with us. She's one of the most laid-back girls we've had through here and she always brings Johnny along for moral support and clothing advice and we're always looking for another excuse to hang out with him too.
Kathryn opted for a split session where we did all of her studio shots a few weeks ago and finished her outdoor portion with a trip to Joplin recently. She's got a great look and Kris and I really enjoy photographing her. We had a tough time narrowing down our favorites, but check them out below and let us know what you think.

Meet Jamie and Jordan. Jordan was all smiles on their special day, but Mike and Jackie managed to get a few serious images out of him. His wife, Jamie, looked absolutely stunning, and underneath her great looks is a calm, cool composure! They were just excited to get married, and it shows in these images. The couple was stress free and bliss filled for the wedding, which makes Mike and Jackie's job easy.
This wedding was extra special because the couple had their dogs, Goose and Bell in the wedding! The ceremony was at Rosie's Cabin in Uniontown.
I must say, although I am partial to pictures of laughter, like the one above, I have fallen in love with the antiqued image below. Enjoy the images!

Anna joined Marissa and I for her senior session a couple of weeks ago right when the weather was beautiful and the temperatures were hovering in the upper 60's. Where did fall go? It seems like half the trees have lost all of their leaves already!
Anna had an awesome variety of outfits, but by far my favorite was the blue and white shirt with the jean shorts. We scouted several different spots for her session ahead of time, but it was only when we were shooting at one of them that I noticed the old beat up blue car sitting abandoned next to where we were shooting. Her outfit was nearly a perfect match - I love it when we get lucky like that. Check out the images below to see some of my favorites. Thanks for an awesome session Anna!
